The International Journal of Psychology and Technology (IJPT) invites qualified academicians, researchers, clinicians, educators, and professionals to join our international reviewer panel. Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the scientific quality, academic integrity, and publication standards of the journal through a rigorous double-blind peer review process.

As a reviewer, you will contribute to the advancement of knowledge in psychology, technology, education, health sciences, behavioral sciences, rehabilitation sciences, artificial intelligence applications, and interdisciplinary research.

Reviewer Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:

Academic Qualifications

  • PhD degree in Psychology, Technology, Education, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Rehabilitation Sciences, Physiotherapy, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related disciplines.
  • Candidates pursuing Postdoctoral Research are also encouraged to apply.

Research Experience

  • Minimum one or more publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with publications indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, DOAJ, or UGC-CARE listed journals.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a specific research area relevant to the journal's scope.

Professional Competencies

  • Ability to critically evaluate research manuscripts.
  • Familiarity with research methodology and statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of publication ethics and responsible research practices.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.

Reviewer Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to:

Scientific Evaluation

  • Assess originality and significance of the research.
  • Evaluate study design and methodology.
  • Examine statistical analyses and interpretation of results.

  • Evaluate ethical compliance and research integrity.

Editorial Evaluation

  • Provide constructive recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify strengths and limitations of the study.
  • Recommend acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.

Ethical Responsibilities

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts.
  • Avoid conflicts of interest.
  • Report suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical practices.
  • Follow COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines and international publishing standards.

Review Process Timeline

IJPT follows a structured and efficient review process.

Step 1: Reviewer Invitation

A manuscript invitation will be sent to the reviewer based on expertise.

Step 2: Acceptance of Review Invitation

Reviewers are requested to accept or decline the invitation within:

3–4 Days

If additional time is required, reviewers may communicate with the Editorial Office.

Step 3: Manuscript Review

Upon acceptance, reviewers will receive access to the manuscript and review guidelines.

Standard Review Period: 4–5 Days

Step 4: Submission of Review Report

The completed review report should normally be submitted within:

10 Days of accepting the review invitation

If additional time is required due to professional commitments, reviewers may request an extension from the Editorial Office.

Step 5: Editorial Decision

The editorial team will consider reviewer recommendations and communicate the final decision to the authors.
